Catholic Practices
You have noticed in the church tour the pictures of the passion and death of Jesus on the walls of the church. These are called the Stations of the Cross, and it is a common devotion especially on the Fridays of Lent. No special prayers are required as you move from station to station although it is common to say “We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you / because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.”
Getting Personal
Have you been impacted by issues of social justice (e.g. bias because of age, race, religion? pollution of air or water? shift of job locations?) What recourse did you have in this moral sistuation?
